About the Position
As the site manager, you will be responsible for organizing the workshop and warehouse areas, managing staff, coordinating workflows, and performing repairs on machinery yourself. This role combines technical expertise, leadership responsibilities, and organizational tasks. The goal is to ensure that operations in the workshop run smoothly and that the machines remain fully operational.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Management and organization of the workshop and yard areas; coordination of work orders and personnel
- Guiding, supporting, and supervising employees during repairs, maintenance, and inspections
- Independently performing repairs, maintenance, and technical work on machines and equipment
- Planning and monitoring of workflows, material requirements, and spare parts supply
- Ensuring order, cleanliness, and compliance with safety regulations
- Communicating with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Documenting work orders, inspections, and repairs
What You Bring to the Table
- Completed technical training, ideally in the field of mechanics, electrical engineering, or mechatronics
- Several years of professional experience in a technical field
- Leadership skills, assertiveness, and organizational talent
- Technical understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, and hydraulics
- A precise and responsible work ethic
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Willingness to take responsibility for staff and processes
- Enjoyment of both providing guidance and rolling up your sleeves to help out
