An electrician for agricultural and construction machinery works on the electrical systems of high-performance machines used in construction, industry, and agriculture. At the same time, they perform tasks related to building services engineering. The profession combines electrical engineering, control systems, diagnostic technology, and hands-on repair work. The goal is to ensure the reliable operation of machinery and building systems, identify faults, perform repairs, and ensure operational readiness.
These are your responsibilities
- Electrical Maintenance and Repair—maintaining and repairing electrical systems on land-based machinery and construction equipment, replacing defective components, and inspecting wiring, sensors, and control systems
- Fault Diagnosis and Troubleshooting—analyzing technical problems using modern diagnostic systems and professionally resolving malfunctions in machinery and building services
- Building and facility systems—Maintenance of the electrical infrastructure on the company premises, including lighting, power distribution, gate systems, charging infrastructure, and security systems
- Assembly and Installation—Installing and connecting new machinery, equipment, and electrical operating systems
- Preparation and Maintenance of Technical Documentation—Working with circuit diagrams, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to prepare for and carry out repairs
- Support for modernization and optimization—Participation in the further development of electrical systems on machinery and throughout the facility
What You Bring to the Table
- Completed training in electrical engineering, ideally with experience in the machinery or automotive sector
- Technical understanding of and interest in electrical engineering, control systems, and machinery
- A precise and meticulous work style
- Manual dexterity and confidence in using tools
- A sense of responsibility and the ability to work safely in accordance with applicable regulations
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Willingness to engage with modern technology and new systems
